De-installation and removal in Lyon
Vertu Medical was managing the de-installation of an Optima 660. This had been purchased from a supplier in Lyon in France, as part of our process, we always ensure the equipment is fully tested in the hospital environment prior to removal. This had been completed by using internal resources, giving us a good insight of the condition of the system and ensuring the removal route was planned accordingly.
The removal route was a significant distance from the scan room to the loading area, we took every precaution to protect the hospital floor by using floor protection. Using transportation frames is always recommended whilst moving equipment. This helped us complete the removal within a day including loading and removal from site.
The hospital were extremely happy with the works that were carried out.
